Karen Menzies & Amy Zeman Join Women En Mass 2016

Gibbs Law Group attorneys Karen Barth Menzies and Amy Zeman travelled to Aspen, Colorado for the fourth annual Women En Mass Conference, a gathering of women mass tort attorneys from across the country. This year’s conference covers a wide range of topics pertinent to female attorneys, including:

• negotiation strategies,
• equal pay litigation,
• e-discovery and the new federal rules,
• strategies for multi-district litigation, and
• updates on various ongoing mass torts throughout the country.

Karen leads the firm’s representation of breast cancer patients throughout the country who experienced permanent hair loss following the use of the Taxotere chemotherapy product. Karen also advocates for women who developed ovarian cancer after using talcum powder, and she represents individuals who experienced serious kidney injuries after taking PPI heartburn medications, including Nexium and Prilosec.

Amy works closely with clients injured by Granuflo, Actos, Yasmin and Yaz and Pradaxa. She also represents consumers in class action litigation, and has experience working closely with class representatives and consumer contacts and participating in all stages of litigation. Ms. Zeman has been involved in successful actions against such entities as Chase Bank, Ducati, Chrysler, Intel, and Dish Network.
